Hello, My name is Tanisha Sweeting, and I'm the proud founder of Kismet Mobile Wellness Spa.

I’ve been a Massage Therapist for over five years. During that time, I’ve worked in a range of local high-end spas, learning as much as I could and gradually shaping this vision that would eventually become Kismet. Through these experiences, I've learned many valuable skills/techniques, but what I found most valuable is the understanding of how powerful the correct environment, energy, and intentions can be.

I consider myself a spiritual person, and I believe healing happens in layers. It often begins with the spirit, then settles into the mind, and finally reaches the body. That belief is at the heart of how I approach my work. Massage, for me, is about much more than physical relief. It is about creating a space where people can exhale, reset, and reconnect with themselves in comfort.

Kismet has been a passion project since the very beginning of my massage journey and bringing it to life has been something I have worked toward with deep care and dedication.

At its core, Kismet is a pampering experience designed to support people who feel burned out, spiritually drained, or mentally and emotionally overwhelmed. The goal is simple. I want my clients to slow down, reground, and leave feeling lighter than when they arrived. Like any living project, it will continue to grow and evolve.

Creativity has also always been a big part of my life. I am a professional vocalist and ukulele player, and I also create clay sculptures and mixed medium paintings. It felt natural to weave those parts of myself into Kismet as well. With each massage, you will receive a small handmade clay trinket or a mini canvas painting as a keepsake. It is a small reminder of the time you took to care for yourself, and what you've gained from it.

My background in music has inspired me to incorporate sound baths into guided meditations. Sound and vibration can have a powerful effect on the body and the nervous system, and I adore utilizing them to deepen the relaxation and create experiences that border on transcendent.

When people ask, "So what made you get into massage therapy?" My answer has always been, put simply "I love people and I love helping people feel better." and that truth gains more momentum by the day.

You may have noticed that we incorporate both elements of earth and space throughout our imagery. This pairing reflects the symbolic connection between the body (earth) and the spirit (space).

Our logo features the phases of the moon as a gentle reminder that no matter what phase of life you are in, you are still whole. Just like the moon, our lives move through natural cycles of growth, rest, change, and renewal.

Some of these phases may feel bright, full, and open, while others may feel more inward, hollow and sometimes dark. In these phases, it's important to notice that no matter where you're standing, there you are. You remain whole, present, and open to illumination.

Arts

Part of the Kismet experience is the element of small surprises and gestures of care. First time guests will receive a complimentary handmade trinket (a clay fortune cookie/worry stone) or miniature paintings as keepsakes to bring a little more joy and curiosity into their day, and to remind them that they took the time to show up for themselves. These small offerings reflect our belief that wellbeing should be supported not only through physical care, but also through moments of delight and connection that create a spark.

As an extension of this vision, we are deeply committed to supporting local artists by uplifting their visibility and helping their work reach a wider audience. We believe art is a powerful expression of culture, spirit, and perspective.

To honor that, we’ve created a dedicated section to showcase unique pieces and celebrate the passion, creativity, and care that each artist pours into their work. Our hope is that this space not only highlights their talent but also helps their art find the people it’s meant to inspire.

At its heart, Kismet is about creating an experience where our clients feel deeply cared for, fully healed and truly seen. Every detail is fine-tuned just for you so that each visit truly feels like Kismet.

Company Policy:

At Kismet, we strive to create a seamless, professional, and safe wellness experience for all of our clients. To ensure the best quality of service, we ask that you review and honor the following policies.

Arrival & Preparation

• We request that you allow our therapists to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to your scheduled service for proper setup and preparation.

• Please ensure that there is ample space available for selected services to be carried out.

• Depending on the selected services, the preparation time will likely need to be extended accordingly. Please inquire on the preparation of each service if it may concern your scheduling.

• Please be advised that our therapists do not work in direct sunlight, or poorly ventilated/temperature-controlled spaces. Massages therapy is a physically demanding task that raises body temperature, and we are committed to ensuring the comfort and safety of our therapists in any environment.

Therapist Safety

• For the safety of our staff, we monitor our therapists’ locations during all appointments.

• Therapists are required to check in twice per hour while on duty.

• We have a ZERO tolerance policy for any kind of harassment of our staff.

• Therapists are permitted to abruptly end and exit any service deemed inappropriate (within reason) at which point, an internal investigation will be conducted, and clients will have every opportunity to contest, and share their own perspectives on any potential situations.

We will consider therapist’s history and character in assessment of each incident.

Payment Methods:

We're currently only accepting cash payments or bank transfers. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience.

Booking Notice:

• We require a minimum of 1.5 hours' notice prior to booking a service to ensure proper scheduling and preparation.

• Appointments scheduled outside of regular service hours will incur a $40 after-hours fee.

Deposits & Cancellations:

• A 30% deposit is required to secure all bookings.

• Deposits are refundable up to 15 hours before the scheduled service. (Deposits are waved for bookings made within 15 hours of service)

• Cancellations made under 15 hours of your appointment will result in forfeiture of 30% deposit.

Parking & Valet Fees:

• Bookings made in locations requiring valet parking (such as Baha Mar, Margaritaville, etc.) will include an additional $10 - $15 valet fee.

Service Changes & Compensation:

• We will not be required to provide compensation for any service changes or preventable mishaps (on the client's part) that were not clearly communicated before or during services, though we will of course do our best to remedy any possible conflicts.

• If you have any questions or experience any issues with your service, please contact us directly. This ensures that your concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
